Classy Cupcakes

Need a dessert for your next soiree? Consider cupcakes. More and more people are opting for cupcakes over their larger sister sweets. They’re even popping up in tiers as a whimsical wedding alternative. Being small definitely has its advantages:

More choices. Cupcakes allow you to give your guests more flavor options, both for filling and icing.

Less mess. At least, that is, for you. Handheld treats take forks and plates out of the equation, making clean-up much easier on the host.

Second chances. If there are leftovers (and you have the will power not to eat them for breakfast the next morning), they’re easy to freeze and save for another occasion.

Tizzerts cupcakes come in seven saliva-inducing flavors: Vanilla Cream, Lemon Raspberry, Coconut Cloud, Boston Cream, Chocolate Espresso, Chocolate Chocolate, and Carrot Pecan, which we top with the crème-de-la-crème of cream cheese frostings.

All of Tizzerts’ delicious cupcakes come beautifully presented and packaged on the outside, with a squirt of filling on the inside for added flavor and freshness. Want something extra special? Ask Tiz about her customized cupcake options. For an extra $3 per dozen, she can add a buttercream design of your choosing: Rose, Apple Blossom, Polka Dots, Daisy or Sprinkles. Talk about icing on the cupcake!

Tizzerts cupcakes cost $27 per dozen, or $30 per dozen with the custom buttercream décor. They’ll keep up to four days in the fridge or two weeks in the freezer.

One of Tiz’s favorite online indulgences is Cake Wrecks

If you haven’t visited this blog, you’ve got to see for yourself, but their description, “When Professional Cakes Go Horribly, Hilariously Wrong,” pretty much says it all. It’s like Jay Leno’s Headlines segment where he would show funny typos from magazine and newspapers… only with cakes instead. Please note that all of these cake-tastrophes were made by professionals (i.e. someone actually paid for these… bless their hearts).

We love the creepy baby cake post, and this wedding cake gone awry (don’t worry, brides, we’d reel you in before it went that far).

china-firemanCake Wrecks provides hours of side-splitting procrastination. But as much as we love checking out the wreckage, we’re also happy to report that Tizzerts is wreck-free. In other words, we’d never do this:

It’s even more hilarious once you
